Each month Fame Registry tracks the popularity hundreds of porn stars based on things like how many movies they have been in, how many times they have graced the cover of major men’s magazines, how many friends they have on social networking sites like twitter, how many times per day fans search for them on the internet, etc. Each year we take all this data and produce a list for the hottest porn stars of that year.
The Fame Registry awards is an annual event and the winners are announced every year on August 30th via twitter @FameRegistry. This is the third year of the Fame Registry awards.

Like the #1 porn star website for January 2009 gets 5 points, while the #4 most popular porn star websites gets 4 points. We do that for every month for the entire year then add up all the points.
